'The Dream Courier' is a dark sci-fi action thriller. It's about a postal courier called 'Andre'. He's a loner, a nerdy geek, obsessed with comic books, who feels out of place.

Andre hasn't seen his girlfriend Diane in over a year. The last time he saw her was in a dream. Since her disappearance, Andre has become an expert in lucid dreaming, in a desperate attempt to find Diane.

It's become an obsession with him; dreaming. It's taken over everything. Waking life pales in significance. His postal courier job during the day is a drag, thanks to his demanding boss.

But it's during his dream world that life gets exciting for Andre. During one lucid dream, he meets a talking alien by the name of: 'Joe X'. At first, Andre thinks the alien is just a figment of his imagination, but he's not, he's very much real and has an offer for Andre which he can't refuse.

Joe wants to recruit him for the DDD (Department of Dream Defence) - an intergalactic organization whose job it is protect the human race from the Void Invaders - dream monsters that have been popping up in Andre's dreams.

The Void Invaders are a race of shape-shifting entities from a parallel universe that are out to steal people's dreams in order to continue their dying race. Their leader is a guy called: 'Seth Bashar' who just happens to be the new guy at Andre's postal station in reality.

Andre takes the job, and his seemingly dull life suddenly starts to turn into a magical existence during the dead night hours, when he takes on an altogether different existence. He excels in his new role as the Dream Courier - quickly gaining superhero powers such as the ability to fly.

Andre has a great time with his new job in his dream world, until he discovers that Diane is trapped in the parallel universe of the Void Invaders, having been kidnapped and held hostage by Seth. All Seth wants in return for release of Diane is the most prized possession in all of creation - human genetics.

If Andre is to save her, then he must risk everything by travelling to their universe, which to his surprise is not as alien as he first suspected. In fact, the monsters' world is quite a familiar one for Andre, and holds the key to the ultimate revelation that will turn he's reality upside down.
